Map Shows Where The U.S. Dropped 26,000 Bombs in 2016

According to newly released figures, Former president Obama had upped the number of bombs on foreign countries. US forces dropped over 3,000 more bombs in 2016 than 2015, at least 26,171 . This map by Statista and Independent shows where they were: Most Bombings (24,287) took place in Syria and Iraq. Other U.S. bombs also rained down in Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan – seven majority-Muslim countries. According to analysis of official data by Micah Zenko, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, the US dropped 79 per cent of all 30,743 coalition bombs in 2016. While Barack Obama reduced the number of US soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq under his leadership, he leaves the white house having authorized ten times more drone strikes than George W Bush and having been at war for longer than any President in US history. What Makes Hair Curly ?
