Meet The Scientist Who Could Prove That God Does Not Exist

A scientist names Jeremy England has come out with a theory which potentially proves that life can exist without god and that god did not create us. Jeremy England's theory has been developed on Charles Darwin's idea of evolution. He says that the idea not only applies to things which are alive but to the creation as well. Meaning that evolution not only takes place while we are alive but at our creation as well. The scientist says that it is thermodynamics that plays the major part in our creation and not a 'creator' who is at work. The theory of thermodynamics says if you start with a random clump of atoms, and if you shine light on it for long enough, it should not be surprising that you get a plant. If these atoms are exposed to an energy source (i.e. the sun), these are bound to grow and restructure themselves which eventually leads to life. The theory was posted on Richard Dawkins website, a famous Athiest scientist, and is titled 'God is on the rope

China Officially Ends Its 30 Year Old ‘One Child Policy’

China has officially ended its one-child policy, signing into law of a bill allowing all married couples to have a second child as the country attempts to cope with an ageing population and shrinking workforce. All married couples will be allowed to have a second child but the legislation maintains limits on additional births. The one-child policy, instituted in the late 1970s, restricted most couples to only a single offspring and for years authorities argued that it was a key contributor to China’s economic boom and had prevented 400 million births. As a result China’s population — the world’s largest at 1.37 billion — is now ageing rapidly, gender imbalances are severe, and its workforce is shrinking.

Just another love story - Based on Real Life Experience

Our love story,  When I first saw you (at work), I knew I wanted you, you didn’t notice me as you walked by looking down but I could see the pain you had in your eyes and by the way you carried yourself. You were so tall so I could see you coming down the aisle every time. I’m not one to get shy but I would hide and pinch my friend and say, look look that’s him, and she’d laugh and say really he’s not your type though. I didn’t care, you made the butterflies in my stomach flutter once again, days went by and I never saw you again. Until a couple months later I was at my locker, I dropped my tools, as I reached down I saw you, walking towards me, I couldn’t believe it, we exchanged looks as you passed, you had the cutest smile. I thought to myself,” say something!” Hey, do you have a girlfriend? You turned around with a bigger smile and said no, in my head I was like really that’s your way of starting a conversation!, we spoke for a bit just getting each other’s names.  After t

Cow Returns To The Spot Her Calf Was Killed ... Every Single Day

There are few things stronger than a mother's love her child. For one cow in southwest India, that unshakable bond seemingly transcends even death. Four years after a bus killed her calf in a traffic accident, a cow in the country's Uttara Kannada district stills visits the spot where her child died every day, India's Public TV reports. She waits for the very bus that took her calf's life, blocking the vehicle and following along its side, according to the news station. Cow stops bus that run over her calf - Best Video You Will Ever See | Facebook "The bus owner tried to change the color of the bus but the cow continues to stop him every time," writes Gary Yourofsky, who shared footage of the moving routine on Facebook. "She doesn't stop any other vehicles." While information about the cow is limited to the few details that have been reported by the Indian press, the story is surely all too vivid for anyone who's lost someone they&

Man cycles from India to Sweden, all for love

When Charlotte learned about the man from India who cycled all the way for around 5 months, she drove to Gothenburg and received her husband with unbridled happiness. A poor man from India falls in love with a rich Swedish girl. They marry. Then the girl leaves for her home country, and the man travels nearly five months on a bicycle to meet his only love. This sounds like a typical Bollywood romantic movie, but it's not. Meet Dr. Pradyumna Kumar Mahanandia (PK) and Charlotte Von Schedvin. This is their story. This is the story of true love. An epic saga of romance, PK proves that when love is determined, it pushes all boundaries. Born in 1949 into a poor weaver family of Odisha, Dhenkanal who were considered untouchables, PK was a gifted artist. However, the family didn't have enough money to finance his education. He would often find himself at the receiving end of insult due to the dreaded caste system. Later In 1971, he joined College of Art in New Delhi and ga

We Need To Get To Mars Before World War 3 Starts, Says Elon Musk

According to Elon Musk we need to hurry up and colonise Mars, before we do something stupid like nuke ourselves off Earth. The SpaceX CEO revealed in an interview with GQ that he’s fairly confident humanity will make it to Mars and even build a liveable city, but that we need to do it before a massive calamity destroys our current home planet. Musk described planetary colonisation in similar terms to saving a backup file of an important essay – “You backup your hard drive… maybe we should back up life, too?” – and added that SpaceX are working on something at the moment, but they want to be totally sure before they announce it because he ‘thinks it’s gonna seem pretty crazy’. And once the ‘crazy’ plan is ready Musk wants to send astronauts ASAP, due to the likelihood of nuclear war: "I don’t think we can discount the possibility of a third World War. In 1912, they were proclaiming a new age of peace and prosperity … and then you had World War I followed by World Wa

Girl, 15, Raped, Shot, Thrown Down Well, Helps Catch Who Did It

A 15-year-old Indian girl who was kidnapped, gang-raped, shot and then dumped in a well and left for dead has not only survived, but is now helping to catch her attackers. Indian police say the girl was taken by a man who had groomed her at a shop run by her uncle on November 22. She was then kept prisoner for a week in an abandoned farmhouse in Greater Noida – a town in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The girl told the police she was repeatedly raped by three attackers — two of them minors — every time they brought her food until, on Saturday, the gang told her she was being released and taken home to West Delhi. However, the brutal gang then shot her in the chest and stomach with with a .12-bore pistol from close range and threw her naked down a well – leaving her for dead. Unbelievably the girl survived the torturous ordeal and was found by a passer-by the next day when he heard her faint cries for help. Her rescuer, Babbal Bhati, told the Times of India:

These Women From 37 Countries Prove Beauty Exists Everywhere

They say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. And 29-year-old Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc proved just that in her dream travel project 'The Atlas of Beauty'. After quitting her job some years back, Mihaela packed her suitcase and left Romania to travel the globe. Her aim was to capture women and their beauty across nations to reiterate the fact that beauty comes from authenticity, and not cosmetics and sizes. Says she, "In my project, 'The Atlas of Beauty' I am trying to capture the feminine beauty through traditions and customs. I do like when every woman I shoot has a story to tell about the culture she represents, this way the Atlas of Beauty is also a study on cultural diversity." Needless to say, the photographs she clicked are nothing but magical representing both the beauty and the culture of the woman rather truly. Check out her 30 best pictures from the project.  1) A Tibetan Woman in Xiahe, China 2) A Kichwa Woman, Amazon Ra

Nutrition Basics Explained in Simple Words

Healthy eating is simple if you just keep these basics in mind. Simply put, a nutrient is any substance in food that provides energy and helps build/repair tissue. There are six classes of nutrients - Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, Vitamins, Minerals and Water. Carbohydrates, proteins and fats are considered energy tissues because they provide carbon (fuel) that can be “burned” for energy production. Carbohydrate Carbohydrate is your body’s preferred fuel source. To crush a tough workout, you need energy. You get energy from carbohydrates. Types of Carbohydrates 1. Simple carbohydrates (bad carbs): These are sugar that include glucose, fructose (typically found in fruits and vegetables), lactose (milk sugar), sucrose (table sugar), and maltose (grain sugar). Simple carbohydrate provides lot of calories and usually they have zero nutritional value. 2. Complex carbohydrates (good carbs): Complex carbohydrate sources, such as whole-grains, starchy vegetables, fruits

What makes us yawn?

Next time you're in a meeting, try this little experiment: Take a big yawn, cover your mouth out of courtesy and watch to see how many people follow suit. There's a good chance you'll set off a chain reaction of deep breaths and wide-open mouths. And before you finish reading this article, it's likely you'll yawn at least once. Don't misunderstand, we aren't intending to bore you, but just reading about yawning will make you do it, just as seeing or hearing someone else yawn makes us do it, too. So what's behind this mysterious epidemic of yawning?  First, let's look at what this bodily motion is: Yawning is an involuntary action that causes us to open our mouths wide and breathe in deeply. We know it's involuntary because we do it even before we're born: According to Robert Provine, a developmental neuroscientist at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, research has shown that 11-week-old fetuses yawn. And while yawning is c
